(MENAFN) Chinese tech giant Huawei's income increased 39 percent year on year to 179.7 billion yuan (around USD26.82 billion) in the first quarter of 2019, the company proclaimed Monday.
The company's net profit margin in the first quarter was around 8 percent, slightly higher than in the same duration of 2018.
Huawei continued to see strong development of its consumer business as its smart devices led by smartphones continued to increase market presence.
In the first quarter, Huawei sent 59 million smartphones, according to its business report.
