Turkey, Romania, Poland FMs to meet Friday


(MENAFN) Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu is meeting in Ankara with his Romanian and Polish counterparts Teodor Melescanu and Jacek Czaputowicz.

In a statement issued on Thursday, the Turkish Foreign Ministry confirmed that the meeting is scheduled for Friday.

According to the ministry, "in the meeting, the outcome of NATO Foreign Ministers" Meeting held in Washington D.C. on April 4, 2019, on the occasion of NATO's 70th Anniversary, will be assessed and preparations of the Leaders" Summit to be held by the end of this year will be reviewed."

It further added that the three foreign ministers are expected to address collaboration between their countries in the fields of defense and security.
