Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Supervises Distribution of Sacrificial Meat

Beirut, April 11, 2019, SPA -- Waleed bin Abdullah Bukhari, Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, supervised here today the first phase of distribution of sacrificial meat provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to beneficiaries in Lebanon within the Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat, being managed by Islamic Development Bank in coordination with Zakhat Fund at Dar Al-Ifta in Lebanon.
The distribution ceremony was attended by the Lebanese Minister of Information Jamal Jarrah.
The Lebanese stake of the Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat in this year is 15,000 heads of sacrificial meat which will be distributed to the Syrian displaced people, Palestinian refugees and Lebanese beneficiaries in all Lebanese provinces.
For his part, the Lebanese Minister of Information thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this initiative, affirming the support provided by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for the Lebanese, Palestinian and Syrian peoples.
