(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- The Legal Committee at the State Council on Sunday hosted officials from the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries (MoAF) to add value to its study, 'Land Laws of the Sultanate'.
The committee's 12th meeting headed by Hon Issa Said Sulaiman al Kiyumi, deputy head of the Legal Committee, was held in the presence of committee members and the secretariat general staff.
It discussed with them several topics related to the study, which included the challenges facing the ministry regarding the land sector and the ministry's proposals related to the development of land laws.
The officials included, Eng Saleh bin Mohammed al Abri, director general of Agricultural Development in the ministry and Khalfan bin Rashid al Kaabi, legal affairs researcher in the minister's office.
The committee also noted the follow-up report on the implementation of the decisions taken at its previous meetings, and reviewed its agenda and the adoption of appropriate decisions.
