Coach Berizzo says Paraguay facing 'days of hard work'

(MENAFN) Paraguay coach Eduardo Berizzo made a pledge to have his team completely prepared for the upcoming Copa America and for 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

The new 49-year-old coach, in his first news conference, affirmed that Paraguay will witness "days of hard work" as he prepares them for the anticipated events.

The Argentine stressed: "we expect days of hard work. There isn't much time and we want to complete this process with an objective of qualifying for Qatar in 2022."

Berizzo added: "one of the reasons I decided to come here is because of the quality of Paraguay's players. We'll ask them for a lot of commitment and effort. We need to think about the collective."
