This marks a milestone for Qatar's national team, as it is the first time the team has won the AFC Asian Cup. The victory came on the back of an incredible run where the team won six games without conceding a single goal.

On Friday, Qatar Airways held a public viewing of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup final match between Qatar and Japan, at the Airport Park. Families and individuals from across Doha came together to cheer for Qatar's national football team.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Qatar Airways will offer a special discount of up to 25% on fares. Privilege Club members will also have the opportunity to earn up to double Qmiles and Qpoints. The sale will be valid from February 3-14, with travel validity from February 3 to August 31.
In addition, Qatar Duty Free (QDF) will be offering a special two week-long sale until February 14, with a 20% discount on purchases at QDF stores.
Qatar Airways is proud to sponsor premier sporting clubs around the world. The airline recently revealed multi-year sponsorship agreements with several global sports entities, including leading German football team FC Bayern München AG, Italian football club AS Roma and Argentinian club Boca Juniors.
