(MENAFN) Lebanon's new government is set to be established in the short term, asserted Lebanese General Security chief Abbas Ibrahim.
The news was declared on Tuesday following a set of talks with six independent Sunni lawmakers over their role in the new cabinet.
Ibrahim stated: "we are on the right track. We will witness the formation of a new government very soon if we do not face additional obstacles."
The new cabinet will be inaugurated ahead of Christmas, unveiled Kassem Hashem, one of the independent Sunni lawmakers.
