Jordan- Ukrainian embassy urges its nationals to register for elections

Amman, Nov. 28 (Petra)--The Ukrainian embassy in Jordan called on its citizens to register for Ukraine's presidential election on March 31 and the legislative elections in October next year.

The Ukrainian consulate in Jordan will open a polling station at the embassy's premises in Amman on the day of the presidential elections, the Ukrainian consul in Jordan Oleksii Sluka said in a press statement on Wednesday, adding that the Ukrainian community in Jordan or Iraq can register for the elections.

Sluka said that anyone who holds Ukrainian citizenship is entitled to participate in the voting process, provided that he turns 18 on election day, and has registered in Jordan or Iraq at the Ukrainian Embassy.
