ABU DHABI, 19th October, 2018 (WAM) -- The Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Centre (SZGMC) is participating in the International Trade Show for the Asian Travel Market (ITB Asia), taking place on 17-19 October in Singapore.
Dr. Youssef Al Obaidly, the Director-General of SZGMC, said the participation comes in harmony with the directives of the country's leadership to present to the entire world the unique potential of the mosque where classical Islamic architecture is brought to a summit of refinement.
The Mosque, showcased as part of the pavilion of the Department of Culture and Tourism - Abu Dhabi, was visited by a number of top Singaporean officials and the UAE Ambassador to Singapore, Dr Mohamed Omar Abdulla Balfaqeeh, who all were briefed on the message of religious tolerance and peaceful co-existence relayed by the mosque to the whole world.
