(MENAFN) The Russian defense ministry reported on Tuesday, A delegation of high-ranking foreign and defense administration officials from Russia encountered with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to debate the state in Syria.
The ministry emphasized, on October 14-15, the Russian team, which involved Russia's Special Envoy to Syria Alexander Lavrentiev was in Saudi Arabia.
According to official Saudi news agency SPA, Saudi Foreign Minister Adel al-Jubeir and Saudi Minister of State Dr Musaid al-Aiban also joint in the conference.
Neither Russian nor Saudi sources explained further on what was deliberated or if any treaties were signed.
