Lebanese MP to discuss Netanyahu missile claims in UNIFIL

(MENAFN) Lebanon's parliamentary committee of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants decided to go to the UN Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) to address missile allegations made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

The news was unveiled on Tuesday by head of the parliamentary committee of Foreign Affairs and Immigrants Yassin Jaber, as reported Elnashra.

Jaber stated: "the Lebanese parliament is keen on preserving the presence of UNIFIL in southern Lebanon, especially with the repeated Israeli threats and the fear of facing new attacks by Israel against our country."

The Israeli prime minister accused Hezbollah of owning missiles hidden in three spots in close proximity to Rafic Hariri International Airport in Lebanon.
