Oman- GAC organises competition to find number of footballs inside Outlander

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- In conjunction with one of the greatest international sporting events, the FIFA World Cup 2018, and in keeping with the massive popularity of football in the sultanate, General Automotive Company (GAC), the official distributor of Mitsubishi vehicles in Oman, has organised a special competition.

Customers visiting the Mitsubishi Showroom in Azaiba, Sohar, Nizwa and Salalah will be invited to guess the number of footballs inside an Outlander that has been put on display for a chance to win an iPhone X from GAC, while at the same time getting a better understanding of the wide-ranging capabilities of Mitsubishi vehicles or even buy one and enjoy an unforgettable experience. The competition will end on July 15.
Manoj Ranade, GM of General Automotive Company, said, 'GAC is always keen to share in the interests of its valued customers. This is why, the company has organised this competition in conjunction with the FIFA World Cup, the largest football tournament in the world and one that has generated huge interest among all fans. During the competition period, the sales representatives introduced the capabilities of the entire Mitsubishi line-up to visitors, all of which are well known for their high quality and attractive designs. The Outlander, one of its most prominent models, has been filled with footballs to showcase its interior space. Furthermore, the Outlander has earned a leading position within its class and has attracted a wide range of drivers in the Omani market, especially those looking for a capable yet small SUV that combines both power and space in one comprehensive package.'

The Outlander is an SUV from the prestigious Japanese manufacturer. Powered by an advanced 2.4l or 3l engine and mated to a new generation continuously-variable transmission, the Outlander's drivetrain offers improved acceleration, performance, shift feel and torque delivery. This performance is further enhanced by Mitsubishi's superior Multi-select 4WD system. This system is electronically controlled and switches to 4WD on demand. The system also comes as standard with a 4WD Eco and lock modes, which perfectly balances the fine-tuned and environmentally conscious performance of the engine. The current generation Outlander was the first Mitsubishi production vehicle to showcase the brand's new 'Dynamic Shield' design language. The new 2018 model takes this a step further, featuring a number of exterior updates that further enhance its overall look. The end result is a vehicle with an aggressive front styling, which together with the muscular fenders and aerodynamic bodylines, makes the Outlander seem as if in motion even when stationary. The Outlander features a wide range of safety equipment as standard. These include an Anti-lock braking system (ABS), electronic brake force distribution (EBD), Driver and passenger airbags, active stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system and much more. All of these features, together with its robust body and the brand's renowned crash protection standards, come together to establish the Outlander as amongst the safest vehicles in its class.

'We invite all Mitsubishi customers and fans from all around Oman to visit GAC showrooms to see the displayed Mitsubishi vehicles and learn more about their great capabilities. We are confident that all Mitsubishi models will continue to grow in popularity and will provide our customers with total peace-of-mind motoring and an exciting driving experience, thanks to its elegance, attractive design and quality,' added Ranade.
