(MENAFN) A Canadian man, who travelled to the Amazon rainforest in order to study hallucinogenic medicine, has been murdered by a Peruvian mob, who accused him of killing a respected elderly shaman.
Sebastian Woodroffe, 41, headed to Peru in order to study medicine and finding enlightenment.
However, his trip for 'deeper meaning' took a different turn, when he allegedly fired at Indigenous healer Olivia Arevalo Lomas, aged 81.
