Pakistan- House of Akhunzada Chattan in Bajaur attacked with missiles


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) KHAR: The house of former Member National Assembly and the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) provincial vice-president Akhunzada Chattan in Bajaur Agency came under missile attack on Saturday night.

Akhunzada Chattan was present at his house at the time of the attack. However, he and other members of the family remained safe in the incident. the house was partially damaged in the attack launched from unknown direction.

The security forces cordoned off the area after the incident and launched a search operation. However, no reports of arrest were received.

A large number of people, mostly the PPP activists, visited the residence of Mr Chattan on Sunday and expressed solidarity with him. The PPP leaders thanked all his well-wishers for inquiring his wellbeing.
