Qatari second-largest bank drops 9.6 percent in net profit


(MENAFN) Reuters calculations showed Qatari second-largest bank Masraf Al Rayan to have documented a decline of 9.6% in net profit during the fourth quarter of last year.

Its calculations also found net profit for the three months to 31 December to have dropped to 466 million riyals from 515.6 million riyals during 2016 in the same period.

Nonetheless, about three analysts are estimating the bank to pick up and reach a net profit of 562.5 million riyals this year.
