Kuwaiti oil price up 79 cents to stand at USD 59.68 per barrel


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti crude oil went up 79 cents and settled at USD 59.68 per barrel, compared to USD 58.89 per barrel since last Thursday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) on Saturday.

In world markets, oil prices were up yesterday due to increase in demand by China on crude oil, and the threats of strikes by oil workers in Nigeria.

Oil crude price Brent mixed was up USD 1.20 cents to stand at USD 63.40 with the US crude Western Texas oil also up 67 cents and settled at USD 57.36 per barrel. (end) asj.mb
