Hariri to be in Lebanon on Wednesday for Independence Day

(MENAFN) Former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri will be in Lebanon next Wednesday for Independence Day, according to the president's office.

The recently resigned prime minister has been staying in Saudi Arabia ever since he announced his resignation while on a visit to the Kingdom two weeks ago.

Hariri telephoned President Michel Aoun after arriving in France from Saudi Arabia on Saturday and "told him that he would be in Lebanon to take part in Independence Day celebrations", it said.
