Kuwait- Indian expat hangs himself Egyptian drowns


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16: A 23-yearold Indian expatriate hanged himself with a rope tied to the ceiling of his room at the sponsor's house in Al- Naseem area, reports Al-Anba daily. Apparently, the deceased stood on a chair to facilitate the suicide mission and the Kuwaiti sponsor reported the incident to security authorities when he found the body. Criminal detectives lifted samples of fingerprint for investigation.

Meanwhile, an Egyptian born in 1993 drowned while swimming with two compatriots behind Al-Kout Complex in Fahaheel area, reports Al-Anba daily. A security source said coast guard went to the rescue of the youths upon receiving a distress call about the incident around 10:00 pm, and successfully rescued two of them, while search for the deceased person continued until the early hours. The two rescued youths were referred to Adan Hospital for treatment, while the body of the victim was deposited to Forensics. And, some 16 individuals involved in criminal and civilian offenses along with 39 residency violators were apprehended at security checkpoints mounted in different parts of Jahra governorate by security operatives, reports Al-Seyassah daily
