Two Palestinians killed in Lebanon's refugee camp

(MENAFN) Two members of the Palestinian group Fatah were murdered in clashes with Islamist groups in a Palestinian refugee camp in Lebanon.

Meanwhile, the attacks at the Ain el-Hilweh camp started between Islamist fighters and a mutual force covering the main Palestinian factions, involving Fatah.

Accordingly, clashes had escalated, when gunfire hurt three people, involving two Lebanese security personnel, outside the camp.

Lebanon's Palestinian camps, which date back to the 1948 war between Israel and its Arab neighbors, fall outside the jurisdiction of Lebanese security services.
