Saudi- 9 British Pilgrims Travel 3000 km on Bikes, to Perform Hajj

Jeddah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 27, 1438, Aug 19, 2017, SPA -- A group of nine British pilgrims have arrived here on their bikes after a six-week long journey from London, which took them over 3,000 km through France, Switzerland, Italy, Greece and Egypt.
The trip, according to the British riders, was aimed at conveying a picture of Islam as a religion of peace and tolerance among the countries they passed through.
They are expected to complete their tour within the Kingdom from Jeddah through Madinah, before embarking on the performance of the pilgrimage rituals.
It is noteworthy that the cooperation to receive the guests of the Rahman was present to see them, on arrival, from several official bodies such as the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the General Authority for Sport and the emirate of Madinah.
