The Mumbai-Goa bound Tejas Express has been making a lot of news. The latest being arrest of Dadar resident for breaking and damaging an LCD screen of train last month.

The first in news was grand launch of Tejas Express in June. The second was passengers being disappointed by limited infotainment on train followed by theft of headphones.

Mumbai: BEST may declare bus strike on Monday

Mumbaiites will be hit hard this Monday as 97% employees of city's second largest public transport system Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) voted in favour of going on strike against BMC.

They are demanding BMC to take responsibility of BEST workers' salaries, scrap Canadian firm's software that decides their work hours, ban private buses hiring, replace old Trimex machines and renew wage agreement.


Ola driver abandons injured biker who dies on roadside

Ola cab-driver Raees Khan was arrested for allegedly escaping after abandoning a "severely injured" biker Sachin Surve who had been injured in a car accident by Khan at Palm Beach Road in Navi Mumbai.

Khan, fearing police case against him, allegedly dumped injured Surve at a desolate spot where he bled for 12 hours. Surve bled to death by the time he was found.
