PEC students shine in SSC-I annual examination 2016

Doha: The students of Pakistan Education Centre (PEC) showed good academic performance in SSC-1 annual examination 2016, declared by FBISE Islamabad.

Aena Farooq got overall first position in Doha, scoring 474 marks out of 495. Amna Nasir stood second with 457 and Syeda Aliza third with 456 marks.

This year, 102 students got through the examination in first division by scoring more than 60 percent marks.

Twenty-five students topped the exam with flying colours by obtaining A1 grade — above 80 percent marks; 35 made obtained A grade — over 70 percent; and 42 passed with B grade — over 60 percent.

The top achievers with A1 grade in the SSC-1 annual examination 2016 are as follow: Aena Farooq (474), Amna Nasir (457), Syeda Aliza (456), Maha Mohammad Nasir (454), Hooriya Suleman (448), Nawal Nawaz (448) Abdul Rahman (444), Ilyas (439), Muhammad Abdullah (435), Misha Masood (435), Laiba Maryam (434), Amna Mohammad Salim (426), Husna Aziz (424), Maliha (424), Abdullah Siddique (422), Samreen Akram (420), Abdullah Rasheed (417), Maha Sattar (415), Kamran Shah (410), Hamza Murtaza (406), Anum Faisal (402), Aisha Tariq (400), Amna Asif (398), Muhammad Nayef Bin Faisal (397), and Tehreem (397).

Nargis Raza Otho, Principal, PEC, expressed her satisfaction and delight over the achievements and congratulated the students, their parents and teachers on this excellent result.

Pakistan Ambassador to Qatar Shahzad Ahmed also congratulated the students, staff and parents and hoped that the journey of achievements would continue.The Peninsula
