(MENAFNEditorial) Samsung Electronics Levant held a training course at Samsung Ultrasound Medical Laboratory at the Faculty of Medicine - The University of Jordan.
By holding these courses, Samsung Electronics Levant aims to offer a practical training for the doctors and the practitioners interested in the Ultrasound field, through its partnership with the faculty of medicine at the University of Jordan. The Ultrasound laboratory is equipped with the latest ultrasound machines to provide the faculty and students of Medicine at the University with practical experience, and to serve the needs of the university hospital in case of emergency and overcrowding.
The two-day intensive course discussed the fundamentals of ultrasound imaging, and was designed to serve the resident physicians of various specialties; like general surgeons, anesthesiologists, emergency and family doctors. A number of elite doctors oversaw this course; such as Assoc. Prof Erol Unluer, Assoc. Prof Aslihan Semiz Oysu, Dr. Osama Samara and Dr. Mahasen Al Najar.
Samsung Electronics Levant Head of Retail & Corporate Marketing, Mr. Fadi Abu Shamat, stressed on the importance of these courses taking place at the university, by saying: "We've held several courses in the Ultrasound Medical Laboratory since its inauguration. And the new ultrasound courses, held under the supervision of the highly skilled and trained doctors, are designed to familiarize the Jordanian doctors with the latest technologies, right here in the Ultrasound Medical Laboratory at the University of Jordan."
