Peru stocks lower at close of trade S&P Lima General down 0.13%


(MENAFN- FxPro) Peru stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Mining, Banking&Financials and Telecoms sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Lima, the S&P Lima General lost 0.13%.
The best performers of the session on the S&P Lima General were Atacocha (LM:ATB), which rose 13.04% or 0.015 points to trade at 0.130 at the close. Meanwhile, Relapasa (LM:REL) added 11.11% or 0.015 points to end at 0.150 and Casa Grande (LM:CSG) was up 10.29% or 0.350 points to 3.750 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Trevali Mining (LM:TV), which fell 9.21% or 0.035 points to trade at 0.345 at the close. Minera Irl (LM:IRL) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 0.04 and Buenaventura (LM:BVN) was down 5.16% or 0.320 points to 5.880.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lima Stock Exchange by 17 to 13 and 6 ended unchanged.

Shares in Trevali Mining (LM:TV) fell to all time lows; falling 9.21% or 0.035 to 0.345. Shares in Minera Irl (LM:IRL) unchanged to all time lows; unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to 0.04. Shares in Buenaventura (LM:BVN) fell to 3-years lows; losing 5.16% or 0.320 to 5.880.
Crude oil for October delivery was down 1.16% or 0.46 to $38.85 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 0.91% or 0.40 to hit $43.60 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.36% or 15.50 to trade at $1122.80 a troy ounce.
USD/PEN was up 0.19% to 3.2885, while EUR/PEN fell 0.57% to 3.7559.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.47% at 95.30.
