Kazakh premier arrives in Malaysia to boost 2022 Winter Olympics bid


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov arrived in Malaysia on Tuesday to boost the campaign of the Kazakh city of
Almaty to host the 2022 Winter Olympics, dpa reported.

The Kazakh premier, along with his senior officials, arrived in Kuala
Lumpur as the executive board of the International Olympic Committee
(IOC) gathered ahead of the organization's 128th session later in the
week.

The IOC will decide during the session starting Thursday on the host
of the 2022 Games, which is being contested by Almaty, Kazakhstan and
Chinese capital Beijing.
