Consumer Price Index in Qatar in March Increases 0.3 Per Cent


(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) ha April 12 - Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Qatar increased during the month of March by 0.3 percent compared to the month of February while it increased by 2.6 per cent compared to the corresponding period last year. The Ministry of Development Planning and Statistics said in a press release today that this index which measures the inflation reached during March this year 116.9 points. Consumer Price Index (CPI) in Qatar averaged 110.44 Index Points from 2009 until 2014 reaching an all time high of 116.50 Index Points in February of 2014 and a record low of 106.60 Index Points in July of 2010. In Qatar the Consumer Price Index or CPI measures changes in the prices paid by consumers for a basket of goods and services
