Oman Air conducts interviews for jobs in customer service department


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Air recently interviewed citizens for posts in its customer service department as part of its Open Day programme.

The recruitment drive held in coordination with the Public Authority for Manpower Register (PAMR), aimed to provide job opportunities to citizens in various departments, a press release stated.

''The authority is continuing its efforts in cooperation with major companies in the sultanate to provide opportunities to jobseekers,'' Mohammed bin Salem al Sadi, director, private sector affairs at PAMR, was quoted in the release as saying.

Saqir bin Ali bin Said al Qasmi, senior human resources officer at Oman Air stated, ''Oman Air has been able to build a reputation as a leading and competitive airline. We are committed to employing citizens. In this new millennium, our mission is to seek new methods and ways to develop and improve our status as a leading company for providing excellent aviation services.

''We believe the success of Oman Air lies in the workforce associated with it. Thus, we provide jobseekers many opportunities to work in an environment where the priority is satisfying customers and earning their trust. Our focus is to continuously develop our employees through different training programmes.''
