BIBF Organises Walkathon in Celebration of Bahrain Sports Day

(MENAFN- BIBF Leading Excellence ) Manama - 12 February 2026: The Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) organised a walkathon in the Bahrain Bay area in celebration of Bahrain Sports Day, with the participation of a number of its employees, as part of its commitment to promoting physical activity and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
This initiative comes in response to the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to allocate half a working day to sports activities, contributing to the enhancement of physical and mental wellbeing and the overall quality of life in the Kingdom.
On this occasion, Dr Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer of BIBF, reaffirmed the Institute’s commitment to participating annually in Bahrain Sports Day and encouraging employees to adopt a healthy lifestyle, given its positive impact on performance and productivity.
Through such initiatives, the Institute continues to support national efforts aimed at developing human capital and promoting a sustainable work environment in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
