(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- Burgan SC handball team on Friday defeated Sulaibikhat 34-27, while Kuwait SC managed to surpass Kazma SC with a 27-22 win in the fourth round of the Kuwait Handball Premier League for the 2025-26 season.
In the first match, Burgan prevailed over Sulaibikhat in a thrilling and fast-paced encounter, ending the first half with a deserved lead (14-10).
Despite Sulaibikhat's attempts to return in the second half, Burgan's players showed great experience in managing the game until the final whistle to secure a valuable win.
In the second match, Kuwait Club continued their winning streak by defeating Kazma.
The first half was evenly matched with a slight edge for Kuwait, who ended it ahead (14-12).
The defending champions then extended their superiority in the second half to seal the victory.
The next round of matches will kick off on Monday, featuring encounters between Qadsiya SC and Salmiya SC, Sulaibikhat SC and Al-Nasser SC, Kuwait SC and Arabi SC, and Kazma SC and Burgan SC, all to be held at the Sheikh Saad Al-Abdullah Indoor Hall. (end)
