Slovenia Bans Entry Of Israel's Netanyahu
Ljubljana: Slovenia announced on Thursday that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been declared persona non grata and barred from entering the country.
The Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated via on platform X: "In doing so, Slovenia reaffirms its commitment to international peace and the universal values of human rights".
In August, Slovenia imposed a ban on arms exports to Israel and prohibited the import of goods produced in the Palestinian territories occupied by Israel.
Grasic said the decision against Netanyahu was taken because he is accused by the International Court of Justice of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
