Cabinet Introduces Electronic Referrals For MMC

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a decision allowing electronic referrals for military medical commissions (MMC) to be generated through the Unified State Register of Conscripts and accessed via the Reserv+ app.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on January 28, according to Ukrinform, citing the Prime Minister's Telegram channel.

"We continue the systematic digitalization of the state. Today, we are giving the green light to electronic referrals for the MMC for conscripts. People will no longer need to stand in long lines at Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Centers (TRC) to get the required document. Referrals for the MMC can now be generated using the Unified State Register of Conscripts and accessed through the Reserv+ app," Shmyhal said.

Shmyhal clarified that this feature will initially be available to those who voluntarily wish to undergo the military medical commission.

At the same time, individuals who receive a draft notice will only need to submit an electronic request to generate the referral, saving time by avoiding visits to TRC offices.

As previously reported by Ukrinform, the validity period for medical examinations for those deemed partially fit for service is expected to be extended, as approximately one million people were unable to attend their scheduled MMC evaluations.
