Qatar Signs Statute Of OIC Center For Police Cooperation And Coordination

Doha: The State of Qatar, represented by the Ministry of Interior, signed the Statute of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Center for Police Cooperation and Coordination, on the sidelines of the Second Ministerial Meeting of Anti-Corruption Law Enforcement Agencies of the OIC Member States, which concluded on Wednesday in Doha.

The statute was signed on behalf of the Ministry of Interior by Director of the International Cooperation Department Major General Nasser Yousef Al Mal, in the presence of President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) HE Hamad bin Nasser Al Misnad who presided over the meeting.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the signing of this statute is an affirmation of Qatar's commitment to enhancing international cooperation in the fields of security and combating corruption.
