Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan Steadily Enhancing Agricultural Cooperation - Vice Minister


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, November 20. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan are steadily enhancing agricultural cooperation, Kazakh Vice Minister of Agriculture Yermek Kenzhekhanuly told Trend .

"As of today, bilateral cooperation in agriculture between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan is progressing steadily in line with our agreements. Trade turnover for the first nine months amounts to $27 million. The main products supplied from Kazakhstan include grains and processed grain products, as well as meat and meat products," he said.

The minister pointed out that Kazakhstan imports vegetables and fruits from Azerbaijan.

"Meanwhile, compared to last year, we are seeing an overall decrease in trade turnover, which is linked to global changes affecting major suppliers," he added.
