Heydar Aliyev Center Debuts Feeling Free Like A Bird By Renowned British Artist (VIDEO)

(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 27. The Heydar Aliyev Center is now exhibiting "Feeling Free Like a Bird", a piece by renowned British artist Yinka Shonibare, Trend reports.

This climate-focused installation conveys a message through striking imagery: a woman on horseback, carrying freed endangered African birds, with her head replaced by a globe. Through this artwork, Shonibare-whose work is displayed in major museums and galleries worldwide-calls attention to the urgency of tackling economic challenges and environmental crises.

The piece, brought to Baku in partnership with the Heydar Aliyev Center and London's leading Steven Friedman Gallery, will be on view in the capital until April 6, 2025.
