BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 19. The next winners
of the 15th European TeamGym Championship, which is being held in
Baku for the first time, have been announced, Trend
reports.
On the last, fourth day of the tournament at the National
Gymnastics Arena, six women's teams of adult gymnasts competed
first.
The Icelandic team won the Gold medal with 53.850 points. Team
Sweden won the silver medal with a score of 53.400, and the bronze
medalist came from Norway's team with a score of 49.450.
The teams from Denmark (48.750), the UK (47.400), and Finland
(45.850) placed fourth, fifth, and sixth, respectively.
The awards ceremony was then held to honor the winners. Medals
and gifts were presented to the first three-place teams at the
event.
