Uzbekneftegaz, Chinese CNPC Plan To Implement New Joint Projects In Oil And Gas Sphere


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 27. Uzbekneftegaz JSC and Chinese company CNPC are planning to implement new joint projects in the oil and gas sector, Trend reports.

According to the information, this became known during the meeting of the CNPC delegation with specialists of Uzbekneftegaz JSC.

The parties noted that the new projects are aimed not only at ensuring the stability of gas production but also at the application of innovations and advanced technologies in the industry.

The CNPC delegation also visited Mubarek and Shurtan oil and gas production departments and became familiar with the production processes.

The delegation toured the Denizkul gas pre-treatment unit and the compression compressor station at the Mubarek Oil and Gas Production Department.

The primary treatment process units and compressor station were inspected at the Shurtan oil and gas production department at the gas gathering site No. 20. At these facilities, much attention was paid to improving the efficiency of gas production through the introduction of electronic systems for rapid exchange of information.

Meanwhile, Uzbekneftegaz deputy chairman Odil Temirov stated earlier that CNPC will modernize the Bukhara oil refinery.
