BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 6. The Uniform and
Accreditation Center for the Formula 1 (F1) Azerbaijan Grand Prix
2024 began operating in Baku, the Baku City Circuit Company told
Trend .
The 2024 Formula One Azerbaijan Grand Prix is almost here, and
everything is running smoothly in the lead-up to the race.
The company made it clear that the Uniform and Accreditation
Center is a crucial stepping stone in the lead-up to the
competition.
Employees, volunteers, marshals, security officers, and
representatives of contractor companies who will be in the thick of
organizing the 2024 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix can swing by
this center and get their ducks in a row with accreditation cards
and uniforms. It's in the pipeline to dish out approximately 28,000
accreditations and forms for the competition.
To note, over 100 volunteers have been brought on board the
active Uniform and Accreditation Center since August 19. During
their work at the center, they will wear many hats such as handling
registration, getting the ball rolling with accreditation cards,
dishing out uniforms, and much more.
This year, a whopping 16,000 applications were thrown into the
ring for volunteering, with about 2,000 eager beavers rolling up
their sleeves to organize the competitions.
The 2024 Formula 1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, which will take place
in Baku for the 8th time, is set to hit the road on September
13-15.
