Azerbaijan's Istisu Settlement To Develop Modernly, Ending Up Key Living Spot (PHOTO)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 4. The settlement of Istisu is set to become a real game-changer, living up to the times and raising the bar, Trend reports.

Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of Azerbaijan, Anar Guliyev, spilled the beans on his social media, giving the readers a sneak peek of the upcoming design of the Istisu settlement.

To recall, the foundation for the above settlement was laid by President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev during his visit to Kalbajar on September 2, 2024.

A phased approach will be used for the planning of the Istisu settlement, which would span 63.1 hectares in the western section of the Kalbajar district.

The first phase involves the development of 39.2 hectares, which will include the construction of 159 private houses. The overall project will feature 71 townhouses (142 apartments) and 10 buildings with 180 apartments.

Additionally, the settlement will include essential social infrastructure and amenities. Planned facilities include a school with 352 student places, a kindergarten with 100 places, an administrative building, sports and wellness center, a community center, a medical clinic, and a sports playground.
