Azerbaijan, ADB Negotiate Attracting Foreign Investments In Green Energy


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 30. Azerbaijan and the Asian Development bank (ADB) have discussed the attraction of foreign investments in the green energy sector, Trend reports.

According to the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan, Deputy Minister Anar Akhundov held a meeting with Joonho Hwang, ADB's energy director for East, Central, and West Asia.

Meanwhile, it is noted that both sides expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and ADB, praising the Bank's contribution to the country's development.

The meeting discussed the expansion of the utilization of renewable energy sources and the possibility of ADB's support for the development and financing of infrastructure aimed at ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of Azerbaijan's energy system.
