Woman Injured As Russian Forces Attack Podoly In Kharkiv Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Russian forces struck the village of Podoly in the Kharkiv region early on Monday, July 22, injuring a woman.

The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office announced this on the Telegram messenger, Ukrinform reports.

"According to the investigation, on July 22, at about 09:40, the occupiers shelled the village of Podoly, Kupiansk district. A civilian was injured. She was treated at the scene. Private homes and a garage were damaged," the post said.

Commenting on an overnight night attack on Derhachi, the prosecutor's office said that in addition to an educational institution in the center, Russian forces also damaged other civilian infrastructure sites, including the premises of civilian enterprises, apartment buildings, etc.

"According to preliminary data, the Russian army used two Iskander-M missiles," the post said.

Under the procedural leadership of the Kupiansk and Derhachi district prosecutor's offices of the Kharkiv region, pre-trial investigations have been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

In the early hours of July 22, Russian troops shelled Ruska Lozova with multiple rocket launchers and hit Derhachi, Kharkiv region, with missiles, destroying an educational institution. Early on July 22, the Russians carried out an airstrike on Senkove in the Kharkiv region, injuring a woman.
