Prague airport resumes normal operations after global computer outage

(MENAFN) By Saturday morning, all airlines operating at Prague's Vaclav Havel Airport had returned to normal operations following a significant global computer network outage. The disruption, caused by a faulty software update in global systems, had led to widespread service interruptions affecting not only airlines but also media outlets and banks. As a result of the outage, twelve arriving flights and thirteen departing flights were canceled on Friday, while 83 arriving and 113 departing flights faced delays.

The spokeswoman for Prague Airport advised passengers to check the airport's flight information website for updates on their flights. The technical issue caused substantial delays and cancellations, but by the morning, the airport's operations had largely resumed their regular schedule.
