Social Affairs Min. Discusses With Assistant FM Human Rights Cooperation

KUWAIT, June 27 (KUNA) - Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, and the Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Dr. Amathal Al-Huwaila discussed Thursday with Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Human Rights Affairs Ambassador Sheikha Jawaher Ibrahim Duaij Al-Sabah cooperation for boosting human rights.
In a press statement, the Social Affairs Ministry said the meeting addressed a number of key issues related to women, the family, childhood, and people with disabilities.
They mulled the State of Kuwait's human rights commitments as per the international conventions and their mechanisms. (end)
