The Safe Internet Project Has Implemented In Nakhchivan (PHOTO/VIDEO)


(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 24. The project conductseducational activities on internet safety among the localpopulation.

"Safe Internet" project was implemented in the city ofNakhchivan with the partnership of the country's leading mobileoperator Azercell and the consulting company "GID CSR Consulting",as well as with the support of the Ministry of Education of theNakhchivan Autonomous Republic. As part of the project, aneducational session was held for students and cadets. Theschoolchildren received information about online threats andlearned about ways to combat them.

Participants of the courses conducted based on the program ofthe certified international security school familiarize themselveswith the following topics:

. Examination of virtual acquaintances;

. Use and protection of personal information on socialnetworks;

. Refraining from participating in competitions that requireentering personal information;

. Deceptive tactics of scammers and criminals on thenetwork;

. Reporting incidents of trolling, cyberbullying, orinappropriate online behavior to whom and where.

The lessons are conducted by professional trainers from "GID CSRConsulting". The "Safe Internet" project envisions theparticipation of more than 300 students and over 100 parents. Itshould be noted that Azercell has been implementing educationalprojects on internet safety continuously since 2016. During theseyears, more than 1500 internet users of various ages have benefitedfrom these projects.
