(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 8. Azerbaijan is activelyengaged in extensive cooperation with partner countries, includingBulgaria, in the green energy cable project, President Ilham Aliyevsaid in a joint press conference with President of Bulgaria RumenRadev, Trend reports.
Emphasizing that the feasibility study, expected to be completedin a few months, will pave the way for the project to commence, thehead of state said:“Therefore, Azerbaijan aims not only toposition itself as a supplier of oil and gas to the European marketbut also as a provider of green energy. The potential issubstantial, and we will further discuss this at the end of theyear during the COP29 conference.”
