(MENAFN- Trend News Agency) TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, April 26. Uzbekistanlaunched new regular flights from Tashkent to Makhachkala (Russia)and back, Trend reports.
According to Uzbekistan Airways, the flights will operatestarting May 9 on Thursdays.
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan Airways increased the number of flights toRussia with the beginning of the spring-summer season in 2024.
According to the airline, the number of flights from Tashkent toRussia's Irkutsk, Nizhny Novgorod, and Khabarovsk increased.
Thus, the airline added a regular flight on Sundays to theTashkent - Irkutsk - Tashkent route. Also, a regular flight onThursdays to the Tashkent - Nizhny Novgorod - Tashkent route and aflight on Saturdays to the Tashkent - Khabarovsk - Tashkent routeare added.
At the same time, Uzbekistan Airways plans to operate up to 22flights per week from Russia's Pulkovo Airport during the summerschedule. Flights to seven cities in Uzbekistan have been openedfrom St. Petersburg: Tashkent, Bukhara, Namangan, Samarkand,Termez, Urgench, and Ferghana.
