W.Ruth Turner, Author Of ‘Master Sin Or Sin Will Master You’, Discusses How Atrocities The Kansas City Chiefs’ Parade Shootings Are An Example Of Growing Black-On-Black Crimes

(MENAFN- GetNews) In her new book, W. Ruth Turner discusses how a spiritual, God-centered approach can be used to remediate societal issues such as black-on-black crime

Author, pastor, and engineer W. Ruth Turner is highlighting the growing number of black-on-black crimes and how these crime statistics can be reduced. The recent shootings that took place after the Kansas City Chiefs' celebratory parade following their Super Bowl win are one example of such crimes that can be thwarted with an approach that casts aside social and economic nuances and instead focuses on spirituality.

Statistics show that black-on-black homicide accounts for approximately 88% of all homicides of Blacks. This staggering statistic was brought to light when a shooting broke out after the Kansas City Chiefs' parade. The commotion began as conflict between two people but then escalated into a shooting that left 22 people injured and a mother of two dead.

Two Black juveniles have been charged.

According to Turner, black-on-black crime rates can be reduced with an approach that includes putting God in the center. In her newest book, 'Master Sin or Sin Will Master You', Turner outlines just what the title says by highlighting how spiritual weakness is at the center of many of today's societal issues.

The book serves as a guide for individuals and communities ready for change and healing, offering perfectly outlined steps for overcoming sin and sparking lasting change.

'Master Sin or Sin Will Master You' is published by Mercie & Moxie, an imprint of Orison Publishers. Inc., and is available via major book retailers everywhere.

Turner feels that black-on-black crimes can be greatly reduced by putting the steps found within 'Master Sin or Sin Will Master You' into place. If they'd been put into place earlier, says Turner, perhaps the terrible aftermath of a simple altercation could have been avoided altogether after the Kansas City Chiefs' parade.
