Arab, Islamic nations denounce Israeli airstrikes on Qatar Committee HQ in Gaza

(MENAFN) Late on Monday, Arab and Islamic nations and organizations released statements collectively denouncing the Israeli airstrikes on the headquarters of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.

Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, as well as Jordan, joined by the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, expressed their condemnation of the Israeli bombings targeting the committee responsible for the reconstruction of Gaza.

Earlier in the day, the Qatari Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli bombing, categorizing it as "blatant aggression." Qatar denounced the attack, viewing it as a continuation of the occupation's strategy of targeting civilians, hospitals, and refugee shelters.

Qatar also asked for Israel to “stop providing misleading justifications and information for these attacks.”

The Saudi Foreign Ministry in its declaration denounced the “blatant aggression by the occupation forces on the Qatari committee's headquarters” and voiced unity with Doha, advising the international community to directly stop "violations committed by the occupation authorities."

In a statement, the UAE vehemently condemned the Israeli assault on the Qatari committee's headquarters, underscoring the imperative for an immediate cease-fire to avert additional bloodshed.
