GCC Chief Deplores Israeli Occupation's Attack On Qatar Aid Cmte In Gaza

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Nov 13 (KUNA) -- The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Jasem Al-Budaiwi condemned on Monday the Israeli Occupation forces' attack on the headquarters of Qatar's Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza.
In a statement, the GCC General Secretariat said that such aggression comes as another testament to the brutality and carelessness of the Israeli occupation and its blatant violation of international laws and treaties.
Al-Budaiwi added that such targeting of the Qatari committee in Gaza comes as a confirmation that the Israeli military machine does not care about innocent civilians and targets them directly.
Al-Budaiwi praised the role played by the Qatari committee in helping with the reconstruction efforts in Gaza, and its vast contributions there.
The GCC chief called on the international community to stop and directly intervene to put an end to the Israeli occupation aggression, affirming on the solidarity and support to the Palestinian people. (end)
