(MENAFN- PRLog) -- A Contemporary Glass Art Auction presented by Imagine Museum & bill edwards foundation for the arts will hold its closing reception at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts - Mahaffey Theater on Wednesday, August 23 from 5:30 - 7:30 PM . The exhibition is part of an event series that celebrates visual and performing arts titled Music + Musings at the Mahaffey.
"We really enjoy working with Trish Duggan and her team at the Imagine Museum. The partnership is growing stronger and moving in a more expansive direction than we even imagined - stay tuned for further exciting news and developments," said Bill Edwards, Founder & CEO of Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts.
Titled Glass Harmonies , the exhibit is a contemporary glass art auction. The auction will feature a variety of artwork created by ten different glass artists. It has been on display for patrons to view or purchase throughout the theater's events until the end of August, culminating in the closing art auction. A portion of the proceeds from the auction will be used to support Mahaffey Theater programming for both children and adults.

"This event offers a great chance to acquire exquisite pieces for your collection or just visit this beautiful venue to appreciate this diverse collection in person."
Music + Musings, a celebration of the arts in our community, is hosted by Bill Edwards Foundation for the Arts at the Duke Energy Center for the Arts – Mahaffey Theater. Throughout the year, Music + Musings highlights various community partners and arts organizations in our Community Art Gallery, which is located in the upper lobby of the theater. Imagine Museum is their 5th community partner thus far.
