Russian Su-25 Attack Aircraft Crashes Into Azov Sea In Yeisk


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) A Su-25 military aircraft crashed into the water of the Taganrog Bay in the city of Yeisk, Russia. The pilot managed to eject.

The advisor to the mayor of Mariupol Petro Andriushchenko said this on telegram and posted the relevant videos, Ukrinform reports.

"A Su-25 attack aircraft fell into the water in Yeisk. The pilot managed to eject. Unfortunately, he was killed. But, minus the "Sushka" (Su-25 - ed.), it's already good," Andriushchenko wrote under the video, which shows the pilot parachuting into the water.

In his next post on Telegram, he posted another video showing the plane planning and falling into the water. "Beautiful... We need more. Much more," the mayor's advisor wrote under the video.

Su-25 ("Grach", T-8 product, NATO codification: Frogfoot) is a Soviet attack aircraft, an armored subsonic military aircraft that is currently in service with the Russian Federation.

Yeisk is a city on the southern shore of Taganrog Bay, located in southwestern Russia. The exact distance from Yeisk to Ukraine in kilometers by air is 566 km (978 km by highway).
